This July my home turned into a cleanliness laboratory, because I tested Samsung’s newest vacuum cleaner — the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra. I’ll admit the name is a mouthful, but it hides two important words: “AI” and “Ultra”. When I mentioned to friends and colleagues that I was testing a vacuum cleaner with artificial intelligence, everyone assumed it was a robot. They were pleasantly surprised to learn it’s a handheld stick vacuum. What AI features are hiding in this model, and what has using it for over a month been like? Let’s find out.

With autumn here and a new academic or working year under way, most of us are back in our daily routine. During busy periods you often end up working in cafés or libraries, where ambient noise and conversation make concentrating difficult. Background music is the best way to hold your focus, and headphones are perfect for that. As you know, they come in two forms: earbuds and over-ear headphones. Personally I lean towards earbuds, since large headphones are less comfortable and take up more room in a backpack — the last over-ears I used were the JBL E55BT. I still pull them out occasionally for video editing, but working with audio means using a cable, because there’s noticeable latency over Bluetooth. That doesn’t matter when listening to music, but it’s a serious problem when editing sound.

Summer is well under way, the weather is slowly improving, and most weekends turn into a good excuse to head out and enjoy yourself. It’s no secret that we’re very active in summer, so we like meeting friends and family, singing and dancing. Portable speakers are perfect for that, and there’s an enormous choice — across both manufacturers and price brackets. This summer I had a great opportunity to try Sony’s newest product, the ULT FIELD 3 speaker. It’s part of the new ULT POWER SOUND range, and you’ll soon find out what makes that special. The good news is that Sony has finally given this range memorable names, which will genuinely make them easier to talk about.

It’s been quite a while since I last tested a Samsung tablet. My previous review was written three years ago, about the biggest and most expensive Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. I own a Galaxy Tab S9+ myself, which I’ve been using happily for nearly two years. This summer I was very curious to try the mid-range Galaxy Tab S10 FE, which is considerably cheaper but still offers S Pen support. This tablet is aimed at students and pupils, and since I’m studying myself, it was interesting to test what the Tab S10 FE can do and use it in daily student life — specifically, revising for exams. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE review

In the second half of this year Samsung introduced the fourth-generation Fan Edition (FE) phone, the Galaxy S24 FE, aimed at genuine Samsung fans who want flagship quality for less. Why only the fourth model? After all, Samsung started this series back in 2020. The history of FE models has been rather turbulent.

The Galaxy S21 FE missed the 2021 train and launched in the first days of 2022, barely a month before the Galaxy S22 series. The Galaxy S22 FE never appeared at all — in 2022 word spread that production had been cancelled and the whole FE line might end. But after the Galaxy S23 series launched in February 2023, news of an FE revival surfaced again, and last October we got the Galaxy S23 FE, which disappointed by being too similar to the Galaxy A54 and using a year-old Exynos 2200 (in the European market), previously criticised for poor performance in the Galaxy S22 series.

I’ve been a Galaxy Watch user for a similar stretch of time. My first smartwatch was the Galaxy Watch Active2, then the Galaxy Watch4, and for the past few months a Galaxy Watch6 has been sitting on my wrist. The watch rarely leaves it, and without one I feel like I’ve left part of myself behind. 😁 So in this review I’ll share my thoughts on this band. Let’s begin!

According to reviewers, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is the best Galaxy S series phone released since the Galaxy S8. With plenty of updates, it’s already considered the best phone of 2023. The smaller Galaxy S23 I tested in February left a good impression, but now it’s the turn of the best flagship in the Galaxy S23 line-up. I started the new year by testing the Galaxy ecosystem. In early January Samsung gave me the chance to spend a month with the newest members of the Galaxy family, unveiled six months earlier at Galaxy Unpacked 2022 August: the Galaxy Flip4 phone, the Galaxy Watch5 and the Galaxy Buds2 Pro earbuds.

It probably won't surprise anyone that I'm a Galaxy user (a fan, to be precise 😊). A Galaxy S22+ helps me every day (and often distracts me 😄), a Galaxy Watch4 sits on my wrist tracking my health, and Galaxy Buds2 Pro help me relax and find inspiration. So the Galaxy ecosystem is very close to me.

Almost a month ago Samsung gave me the chance to test their newest tablet, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. At Galaxy Unpacked 2022 February earlier this year, Samsung introduced not only the newest Galaxy S22 flagships but also — after a year and a half — the Galaxy Tab S8 series.
